“We successfully concluded the Bancassurance Association of Kenya (BAK) 5th Annual General Meeting.
The meeting brought together our members, led by our Chairman, Aggrey Mulumbi, to review our progress, share insights, and chart the way forward for the growth and strengthening of the bancassurance sector in Kenya.
We are grateful to all our members for their active participation and continued commitment to advancing the industry. Together, we look forward to building on our achievements and unlocking new opportunities for collaboration and growth. We were honored to host the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) as our special guest during the BAK 5th Annual General Meeting held today.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Jacqueline Nanyama, Senior Manager – Intermediary Supervision, and Mary Nkoimu, Senior Inspection Manager, for their insightful submission on the AML/CTF compliance framework and the status of BAK members.
Their contribution provided valuable guidance as we continue to strengthen compliance, governance, and resilience within the bancassurance sector”.
